The following appeared in the Tucson Weekly column, "The Skinny"
STATIC: We witnessed the charade that was the KXCI board meeting last week, where this was made crystal
clear: The problem isn't with General Manager Tony Ford. The problem is with an undemocratic, insular, insensitive,
arrogant board majority led by Rick Bacal, a thin-skinned coward who needs lessons on the First Amendment, Robert's
Rules of Order, and, chiefly, on why it's called "Community Radio." Bacal's board is a dead-ringer for the old Amphi School
board that had to be blown out of office by voters in 2000.
